Desafía Nueva York 2024

Desafía Nueva York is an initiative by Red.es and ICEX aimed at enabling small Spanish businesses to penetrate the world's most cutting-edge technological ecosystems.

Description

Desafía offers guidance, support, and connections with key stakeholders through experts embedded in each ecosystem. It also serves as a community hub for entrepreneurs, mentors, and established businesses.

Desafía New York focuses on facilitating the entry of Spanish SMEs specializing in cybersecurity solutions into the East Coast ecosystem of the United States. This includes both startups and mature companies, aiming to provide access to the US market and prepare them for expansion into other international markets.

The program unfolds through the following phases:

  1. Pre-Immersion Phase: Selected companies will partake in a workshop held in Madrid, providing detailed insights into the overall program.
  2. Virtual Program Phase: Spanning three weeks, companies will engage in group sessions with mentors and personalized sessions focusing on go-to-market strategies, narrative development, storytelling techniques, and growth strategies.
  3. New York Immersion Phase: A two-week intensive program featuring daily workshops in New York City, complemented by dedicated time for companies to develop their agendas and participate in networking events.
  4. Post-Immersion Phase: Following the New York immersion, a three-month mentorship program will support companies in implementing strategies to accelerate their expansion into the US market.
